'Cobra Kai' stars engaged: Tanner Buchanan, Mary Mouser reveal rings on red carpet

It's a bit of a star-crossed love story for "Cobra Kai" co-stars Tanner Buchanan and Mary Mouser.

The actors, who play the children of "The Karate Kid" frenemies Johnny Lawrence and Daniel LaRusso, sparked engagement speculation when they revealed their matching rings on the red carpet for the series finale on Wednesday.

The couple confirmed they're engaged in an Instagram post Thursday.

"We're so happy to finally share that we're engaged," Buchanan, 26, wrote in a collaborative post with Mouser, 28. "This is such a special moment in our lives, the closing of one chapter and celebrating the continuation of another. We're so grateful for the love and support, and though we're partial to having our private moments, we're excited to share this check-in to our world."

Buchanan plays Robby Keene, son of Johnny (William Zabka), and Mouser plays Samantha "Sam" LaRusso, the daughter of Daniel (Ralph Macchio), on the Netflix action series, which released its sixth and final season this week. Their characters date in the show from Seasons 2 to 3, but ultimately break up.

Buchanan has also starred in "Designated Survivor" while the TikToker's credits include "Eloise: The Animated Series" as the voice of Eloise and ABC's "Body of Proof."

The private couple have been dating as far back as 2017, when they debuted their relationship on another red carpet, according to E!

Netflix and series creator Jon Hurwitz got in on the fun, with the former writing on X, formerly Twitter: "COBRA CRYING BECAUSE TANNER BUCHANAN & MARY MOUSER ARE ENGAGED."

"We're matchmakers first, showrunners second," Hurwitz joked on X. "Our primary goal with Cobra Kai was for Daniel LaRusso's daughter and Johnny Lawrence's son to fall in love in real life. Mission accomplished. So happy for them! A perfect couple!"
