"This may be the end, but Cobra Kai never dies!"

Maybe not, but Cobra Kai the series is finally coming to an end — and today Netflix announced that the last five episodes of their hit karate comedy will drop on Thursday, Feb. 13. The streamer also released a teaser and seven new first-look photos, giving fans a glimpse into how the epic tale of two dojos — Cobra Kai and Miyagi-Do — will conclude.

In addition to the tantalizing image of Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio) and Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka) practicing the crane kick stance together (above), the new pictures suggest that the Sekai Taikai competition — which ended abruptly in season 6, episode 10 after Kwon (Brandon H. Lee ) accidentally impaled himself on a knife — will continue in some form.

The Miyagi-Do team — including Robby (Tanner Buchanan) and Sam LaRusso (Mary Mouser) — and the Iron Wolf competitors, Axel (Patrick Luwis) and Zara (Rayna Vallandingham), are all suited up in their gis and ready to do battle. Former Miyagi-Do student-turned-Cobra Kai teammate Tory Nichols (Peyton List) is also featured in the new images.

The last five episodes of Cobra Kai will bring the action back to the Valley. "It's going to be fun and emotional and tense and badass and action-packed and surprising and fulfilling," Jon Hurwitz, who created the series with Hayden Schlossberg and Josh Heald, told Entertainment Weekly last month. Schlossberg, meanwhile, compared the final batch of episodes to The Empire Strikes Back, saying, "We knew the middle block of these three parts... would end in this dark, 'What the hell is going to happen next?' place," he said. "The final five will end in resolution. Ewoks will cheer, and all will be right — depending on who you're rooting for on the show."
