About These Claims Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom Unfollowed Each Other on Instagram...

Good morning, hello, there's yet another round of drama surrounding celebrity couples unfollowing each other on Instagram. This morning, Twitter became convinced that Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom had unfollowed each other—to the point where it started trending.

News which obviously lead to speculation that they could be heading for a split. Especially since Orlando has several cryptic quotes in his Stories, including "Remember who made the hardest chapters of your life feel lighter just by being there. Those are your people."

However! Not sure what glitch might have been going on with their accounts in the wee hours of this morning / last night, but as of publishing this article? They are fully still following each other. Ahem:

And for what it's worth, Katy and Orlando publicly gush about each other pretty frequently. Like, here's a post from back in September when Katy supported Orlando at the premiere of The Cut, saying "Couldn’t be more proud of the intense amount of physical and mental effort he gave for this role (you’ll see… ) But tbh I’m mostly grateful we can both now go back to enjoying our in n out again."

So...gonna assume everything is just fine!

As a reminder, this comes amid Justin Bieber briefly unfollowing his wife Hailey Bieber, leading to yet another internet spiral. Buuuut that turned out to be a mistake. As Justin put it, “Someone went on my account and unfollowed my wife. Shit is getting suss out here.”
