Cindy Crawford slips back into the her denim cutoff shorts as she recreates look from iconic 1992 Pepsi commercialCindy Crawford has one outfit in mind whenever Super Bowl season comes around.
On Feb. 10, the supermodel, 58, took to Instagram with a photo — presumably in honor of the big game that happened on Feb. 9 — of her in denim cutoff jeans and a white tank top and holding a can of Pepsi, all of which nodded to her iconic 1992 ad for the soda brand.
“Pre-game drink… still at it,” she captioned the post.
Crawford’s commercial still remains one of the most iconic to date, so much so that it’s led to many spinoffs over the past three decades.

Cindy Crawford recreates the outfit from her famous 1992 Pepsi commercialFollowing the success of the original ad, Crawford slipped back into the sexy ensemble to recreate the scene in 2002, only this time with a twist. While the original ad had major sex appeal with Crawford posing in front of a Lamborghini, this time, the sexy car was swapped out for a family-friendly SUV revealing two kids played by Crawford's own daughter and son, Kaia and Presley, who she shares with husband Rande Gerber.
In 2016, James Corden entered the scene and stepped into Crawford’s role (although hilariously pulling off the act less elegantly but with his signature humor), while in 2018, she starred in a spot with Presley, this time with him all grown up.

Three years later in 2021, Crawford recreated the original ad to raise money for cancer research at the American Family Children’s Hospital in Madison, Wisc., where her younger brother (who died at the age of 10) was treated for leukemia.
She recreated the ad again in 2023 for a music video appearance for That Chick Angel's "One Margarita (Margarita Song) (Saucy Remix)" song. This time her Pepsi can was replaced by a margarita featuring tequila from Gerber’s brand, Casamigos.

Kaia Gerber and Cindy Crawford pictured at an Omega event in N.Y.C. on Nov. 14, 2023Gerber hasn’t revealed any plans to remake the commercial in the near future. However, when speaking with PEOPLE in 2023, she did say there was potential for Kaia, a model and actress, to take over the role.
“I definitely think the Pepsi thing would be fun,” she shared at an Omega event the two attended together. “But if they're going to do her — it has to be the iconic commercial, but a new version of that.”
Gerber admitted that her mom's outfit couldn't be topped and when asked if she'd recreate it, she said: "It’s like some things are just so good you don't even want to touch them,” adding, “And I think some of those moments I'm just like, ‘Leave them there,’ you know?'”
