Ciara's Versatile Clothing Collection with Bebe Is a Modern Twist on 'Y2K Energy' (Exclusive)
The Grammy winner serves up an assortment of options as creative director for the fall capsule launching on Sept. 24
Ciara was a pillar of the early 2000s in more ways than one.
The singer, 38, not only released some of the decade's most recognizable songs (her debut album "Goodies" just celebrated its 20-year anniversary) but her style was a major influence on fashion trends.
Given her contribution to early oughts culture, it seems natural for the Grammy winner to collaborate with bebe. The clothing retailer was established in the 1970s but became a fixture in the early 2000s and today, continues to offer trendy-yet-affordable pieces (while also keeping OG designs like their rhinestone logo t-shirts in stock).
The bebe x Ciara fall 2024 capsule is available on bebe.com and in select retailers on Tuesday, Sept. 24. Ciara serves as creative director for the collection, which features 156 items across categories including dresses, denim, sportswear, accessories and more. Sizes range from XS to XL and all styles are under $299.
"I've had somewhat of a long history with the brand," the singer tells PEOPLE. "Especially in high school, Bebe was one of those brands that was a staple in my closet ... I felt like they always were able to give you that pizazz that was affordable."

When it came to designing the pieces for the capsule, Ciara aimed to create versatile wardrobe staples while also paying homage to early 2000s nostalgia.
"With this collection, you have range," she explains. "You have everything that you need to dress down and be super cool and effortless, and to also dress up and go out for a night with your girls or date night. Everything you need is in this collection, which was important to me."

The singer continues, "If you're trying to dress to impress, you can be ready. If you want to be comfy [there are] the classic velour sweats that we've always loved."
From an elegant satin gown to a classic rhinestone tee, Ciara says the capsule's range is "inspired from the Y2K energy, and them some."
"I wanted to make sure we're still tapping into now in the new, but again, those core aesthetics we've always loved about bebe was really important to me," she says. "So I wanted to make sure that we incorporated that in this new collection. And she is edgy, she is sleek, she is fun, she's vibrant, she's confident, she's bold, she's cool, she's that girl."
