Christina Hall Says It's 'Wild Having a Teenager’ as She Opens Up About Daughter Taylor Growing Up (Exclusive)

The HGTV star chatted with PEOPLE about raising her teenage daughter Taylor, whom she shares with her ex Tarek El Moussa

Christina Hall can't get over how quickly her daughter is growing up.

Ahead of the release of the new season of Christina on the Coast, Hall spoke to PEOPLE about her life as a mom of three.

"With Taylor, just having a teenager is wild," Hall says of her only daughter.

The HGTV star, 40, shares daughter Taylor, 13, and son Braydon, 8, with ex Tarek El Moussa, as well as son Hudson, 4, with ex Ant Anstead. Hall is now married to realtor Joshua Hall, who's a proud stepdad to all three children.

"She's just grown up so much from 12 to 13, and I just love spending time with her," the proud mom adds of Taylor. "I love our conversations. We're closer than ever... I just love being her mom."

Asked if her daughter has expressed any interest in following in her mom's interior design footsteps as a teen, Hall tells PEOPLE, "I feel like she was more into that prior to being a teenager."

"Now, she's just more into friends and summer, so they want to go to the beach and do their thing," she continues. "And I understand and I respect that, but I'm sure when she's older, if she is interested in buying real estate, that that's something that she would definitely hop back into."

Hall recently shared how she and her younger son Hudson were preparing for their favorite holiday: July 4th. On Sunday, June 30, the HGTV star shared a photo on her Instagram Stories of her son as he stood proudly next to a big pile of fireworks.

Wearing a white T-shirt, Yoda Crocs and gray shorts, Hudson smiled in front of an assortment of different firecrackers and fireworks, preparing for the Fourth of July.

"Ready for our favorite holiday 🇺🇸💥," Hall captioned her Story.
