Blue Ivy Carter is stepping into her own personal style with the help of a famous designer.

Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s 12-year-old daughter made a splash at the Dec. 9 premiere of the new Disney animated film Mufasa: The Lion King (out Dec. 20), looking all grown up in a custom gilded gown by Christian Siriano.

The teen, who makes her feature debut in the film as Kiara, truly shined in the metallic design, which was made with a strapless silhouette, a wrap-around bodice and an opulent full skirt with a train that elegantly trailed behind her as she posed for the cameras.

“Blue you look like a goddess and we loved making this for you!!” he wrote alongside a video of Blue Ivy and her superstar mom. He also wrote: "Even when your mom is the most famous woman in the world she still will hold your train! Now that is beautiful and fabulous!"

After her red carpet appearance, Blue Ivy made another fashion statement inside Los Angeles’ Dolby Theatre, taking the stage in a glittery gold minidress and towering heels. The outfit change was captured in a video taken by PEOPLE at the event.

Beyoncé, who reprises her role as Nala in Mufasa: The Lion King, also attended the premiere and chose to coordinate with her mini-me in a metallic Balmain ensemble of her own.

Her gown, which was paired with black heels, featured a sweetheart neckline with a plunging dip, a waist-high slit and gold embellishments all over. She wore her honey blonde hair in bouncy curls.

The Mufasa premiere marked five years since the mother-daughter duo walked their first Lion King carpet in 2019. Blue Ivy, who was just 7 at the time, wore a bedazzled skirt, white button-up shirt and bedazzled blazer while the "Alien Superstar" singer, 43, rocked a coordinating blazer and skirt. Both of their numbers were made by Alexander McQueen.

Fans have gotten to see Blue Ivy’s fashion sense evolve over the years, but especially during her jaw-dropping performances on Beyoncé’s Renaissance World Tour last summer.

Blue's stage presence and talent were always emphasized by her cool stage looks, some of which included a silver costume that matched her mom’s and a bedazzled two-piece.

Back in February, she appeared on stage at the 2024 Grammys in a sculptural white Vivienne Westwood gown.
