Yahoo Lifestyle My Chemical Romance Announces ‘The Black Parade’ 2025 Tour With Openers Death Cab for Cutie, Pixies and More
My Chemical Romance is getting ready to wax nostalgic with the announcement that the group will hit the road in summer 2025 to celebrate its third album “‘Long Live’ The Black Parade” by performing it in its entirety.
The group, which recently played “The Black Parade” last month at Las Vegas’ When We Were Young Fest, will tour the album in 10 cities across North America. At each stop, the band will feature a different opening act including 100 Gecs, Death Cab for Cutie, Thursday, Alice Cooper, Devo, Evanescence, Idles, Pixies, Wallows, Garbage and Violent Femmes.

My Chemical Romance, consisting of Gerard Way, Ray Toro, Frank Iero and Mikey Way, will kick off the “Black Parade” tour in Seattle on July 11. Stops along the way include San Francisco, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Chicago and Boston, with a final show planned for Tampa on Sept. 13.
The band teased the tour with a trailer, and shared its excitement for the trek on social media. “It has been seventeen years since The Black Parade was sent to the MOAT. In that time, a great Dictator has risen to power, bringing about ‘THE CONCRETE AGE’; a glorious time of stability and abundance in the history of DRAAG,” they wrote. “His Grand Immortal Dictator wishes to celebrate our rich and storied culture, fine foods, and musical entertainments by welcoming you to these great demonstrations of power and resolve. And lending voice and song for the first time in six thousand two hundred and forty six days, their work privilege ceremoniously reinstated, will be His Grand Immortal Dictator’s National Band… The Black Parade.”
