Check Out an Exclusive Sneak Peek at Hallmark Channel's Latest 'Loveuary' Movie 'The Wish Swap'

In one of the cutest rom-coms I've seen on Hallmark Channel in a while, The Wish Swap is definitely one of my favorite "Loveuary" movies. The premise is simple: Two strangers who share the same birthday find their birthday wishes have been swapped. The only way either can see those wishes fulfilled is to help the other. I could easily see this as a series of movies with different birthday "twinsies" and their wishes. Hearties and POstables alike should tune in to see some of their favorite actors in supporting roles in the film.

What is The Wish Swap about?

When Casey (Emily Tennant) and Henry (Jake Foy) celebrate their birthdays at the same restaurant, they make birthday wishes at the same time, which are granted. However, they end up getting each other's wishes.

Meet the cast of The Wish Swap

Emily Tennant (Casey)

Emily Tennant began acting at the age of 10 with her first professional role in Dark Angel. She would later have a recurring guest role on Hallmark Channel's first original series, Cedar Cove. She has starred in or had a supporting role in several Hallmark films, including Holiday Hotline and All I Need for Christmas. Tennant does a lot of voice work, having voiced characters on Polly Pocket, Ninjago: Dragons Rising, and My Little Pony.

Jake Foy (Henry)

Jake Foy starred as youngest brother Tuff McMurray on Hallmark Channel's Ride. Sadly, the show was canceled after only one season, but it did find more fans when the series aired on The CW. While his character in The Wish Swap can't seem to find the rhythm, Foy has a musical background, having appeared in High School Musical: On Stage and in multiple productions, including Spring Awakening, while he studied at Sheridan College near Toronto. His other credits include Designated Survivor, Reign, and Batwoman.

Are there any guest stars in The Wish Swap?

There are several! Nathan Witte guest stars as Spencer, the host of the dance competition show. While Hearties and POstables should be on the lookout for Pascale Hutton and Yan-Kay Crystal Lowe in the film.
