Chappell Roan's 600-Year-Old Red Carpet Accessory Needs To Be Seen
Chappell Roan made her VMAs red carpet debut in a stunning, medieval-inspired look.
Not only is her outfit historically inspired, but she's also wearing actual pieces of history!
On the red carpet, she told MTV correspondent Nessa, "That robe that I had on — it's gone — was 300 years old."
She continued, "And then the rug that was rolled out is 600 years old."
When Nessa said, "Don't lose that," Chappell said, "Girl, I won't, 'cause it's rented! And that is the most expensive thing I would ever own."
"Life is so crazy!" she added.

Chappell's stylist, Genesis Webb, credited French fashion label Y/Project and the San Francisco-based antique rug collection Claremont Rug Company in an Instagram story post featuring the look.
She carried the historical theme into her Joan of Arc-esque performance of "Good Luck, Babe!"
