Thankfully, the archival couture gown was "hot to go" on Sunday.

Chappell Roan has officially made her debut at the 2025 Grammy Awards and, as expected, showed up with a larger-than-life look—this time, inspired by the dolls and a dash of art history.

The 26-year-old attended the Grammys red carpet on Sunday, February 2, in a gown pulled straight from Jean Paul Gaultier's SS03 couture collection. The singer even slept with the priceless archival dress because she was “scared for its welfare," reported E!'s fashion correspondent Zanna Roberts Rassi on Sunday.

The bright yellow gown featured a fitted corset top that cascaded into a full tulle skirt printed with scenes of Degas's Yellow Dancers, who also wore frilly yellow dresses in the famous painting. The dress, which featured billowing blue tulle panels, was complemented by the singer-songwriter wearing powder blue sheer gloves with acrylic nail decals on the tips.

The nails weren't the only fun beauty moment for the pop star—the "Good Luck, Babe!" singer finished the over-the-top look with porcelain doll makeup, adding a heavy white base for her complexion and giving dimension through heavily blushed cheeks, dramatic blue and yellow eyeshadow, pencil-thin eyebrows and a moody brick red lip with a pointed cupid's bow.

The 67th annual Grammy Awards marks the first time Roan has attended the ceremony, where she is also nominated in six categories: Best New Artist, Best Pop Vocal Album, and Album of the Year for The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess, and best Pop Solo Performance, Song of the Year and Record of the Year for her single, "Good Luck, Babe!"

Ahead of Grammys Sunday, the "Hot to Go!" singer took to Instagram on January 29 to share her feelings ahead of the biggest night in music. She thanked her fans for their continued support during the most eventful year of her career thus far.

"Hey girls, I just woke up. Good morning,g booboos. It’s Grammy week. I am very emo. My heart feels warm and fuzzy with all the support I have been given this past year," Roan captioned a series of makeup-free images. "I hope you can understand that this has been incredible and scary and spiritual and confusing. I’ve been crying tears of joy and grief and feeling loved and lonely and free."

She continued, "Ultimately, I am grateful for every one of you who gave my music a little spin and showed your ass up to shows and festivals. Because y'all are rockstars, I feel like a rockstar :) Damn, I am cheesy, lowkey. Whatever, anyway, I love the performance we’re preparing for you all. And girl, no matter what, just know when I’m up on stage, all I’m really feeling in my heart is love to the queer community, especially those in places where it is unsafe to be yourself. I see you <3 tootles xox."
