All the Celebrity Red-Carpet Looks From the 2025 DGA Awards
At last night’s Directors Guild of America Awards, the stars gathered to celebrate some of the year’s best films—and their makers. As directors took to the red carpet alongside their respective project’s actors, they dressed up to leave a lasting impression.
Writer, director, and comedian Judd Apatow hosted the annual ceremony, taking on controversial Republican figures like President Donald Trump and Elon Musk in his speech. DGA President Lesli Linka Glatter opened the awards, paying tribute to the first responders who risked their lives to battle the recent L.A. wildfires while also encouraging the industry to work to “bring production back to the U.S. and bring it back in force.”
Other than the handing out of the prestigious awards, some of the most notable moments of the evening occured on the red carpet, where some celebrity looks turned out to be worthy of their own prizes. Mikey Madison proved the power of a red lip; Elle Fanning showed her own take on vintage menswear; Ayo Edebiri stepped out in fresh-off-the-runway Khaite. Elsewhere, Demi Moore slipped into a transparent Dior look, and Dakota Fanning demonstrated that teal really is her color. Emilia Pérez star Zoe Saldaña shared her take on the polka-dot trend, while Sophie Thatcher wore a grungy version of the boho-chic aesthetic.
