Cass takes a dig at Nick after explosive Bachelor finale

If there was one contestant who expressed her affection for Nick Cummins more than anyone else on The Bachelor, it would’ve been Cassandra Wood.

But it seems the 24-year-old, who made it to the final four on the dating show, has changed her tune after previously saying the Honey Badger was the one for her.

Taking to Instagram on Thursday night after the finale aired, Cass showed her support for grand finalists Brittany and Sophie who were left heartbroken by Nick’s shock decision to choose no one at the end.

“My two soulmates from day 1. Love you both to the moon and back #womensupportingwomen #bestfriends,” she wrote next to a black and white filtered image of her with Brittany and Sophie.

Brittany responded to Cass’ sweet post, writing, “Love you little one”.

During her time on the show, Cass had overtly expressed her interest in Nick, after having known him before The Bachelor.

Last week she revealed exclusively to Yahoo Lifestyle that she and Nick had been seeing each other for five months on the outside, but their history obviously wasn’t enough for the Honey Badger to choose her.

Also feeling robbed, she admitted she wished the former rugby union player had given her more of an explanation before she was sent packing.

“Honestly, I wasn’t expecting that and I walked away and I was like, ‘Uh I’m a little bit confused,’” Cassie said. “I actually don’t know what the issue is and what his reasons are.

“He did say we hit a ceiling but like I didn’t really get an explanation.”
