She’s known for her impeccable fashion on The Project and some people are saying Monday night’s ensemble might just be her “best look yet”.

The 40-year-old TV host lit up the screen in an unusual $165 dress from Staud and fans can’t get enough of it.

The sweater style dress is two-tone and made of stretchy knit fabric. It also comes in a variety of different colours.

Carrie accessorised the look with a pair of $49 earrings from Riccia and a $40 statement chain necklace from Roxy Jacenko Accessories.

"The perfect look", one person wrote on Carrie's Instagram account, with another person calling the ensemble "stunning".

Last week, Carrie also caused a stir in a pastel pink wrap Betsy Dress from Aussie label Shieke ($159.95), which featured large polka dots on the silky fabric.

With long sleeves and a tie-waist, Carrie's frock was the perfect mix of smart and chic which had social media users head over heels.

"Of the outfits you have worn over many years, and there have been some lovely ones, this is one of my favourites Carrie," one Instagram user wrote on the 40-year-old's post.
