Candace Cameron Bure Divides Fans With Political Message on Inauguration Day

Candace Cameron Bure made a polarizing statement about Donald Trump's second presidential inauguration.

After Trump, 78, was sworn in for his second term as president of the United States on Monday, Jan. 20, Cameron Bure took to Instagram to share her unfiltered thoughts on the occasion—and her fans are having some mixed feelings about it.

Taking to Instagram after the ceremony, the Fuller House alum wrote, "Happy Inauguration Day!!! ❤️✨🇺🇸," while sharing a series of photos and videos from the day's festivities, including one of Trump giving a kiss to his wife, Melania Trump.

Cameron Bure, 48, also shared a photo of Vice President JD Vance and his wife, Usha Vance, as well as a clip from Carrie Underwood's a cappella performance of "America the Beautiful."

"God Bless America 🙏🏼," she added in her Instagram caption.

Cameron Bure's post was met with a range of reactions, including many messages of support, including one from actress Jana Kramer, who wrote, "🙌🙌🙌🙌," in the comments.

"Thank you for being bold!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️," someone else wrote to the Full House star.

However, several other users were disappointed by Cameron Bure's post, including multiple people who said they would now be unfollowing the actress on the platform.

"Thanks for reminding me to delete you!" one user wrote, while another user called the post "horrendous."

"Shame on you," another fired-up follower commented. "You are a woman of faith and you call your self a Christian and there you are standing next to a man who is filled with hate and stands for all the things not Christian like."

"Well this just ruined full house for me," another person added.
