Happy Oscar Nominations Day! On Thursday, Bowen Yang and Rachel Sennott announced the nominations for the 2025 Oscars.

Emilia Pérez led the pack with 13 nominations, including a historic nomination for Karla Sofia Gascón. She's the first openly trans actress to be nominated for an Oscar.

The Brutalist and Wicked were next, with 10 nominations each.

However, with every nomination comes a movie or actor that was left out, including Hard Truths' Marianne Jean-Baptiste and Babygirl's Nicole Kidman in Lead Actress, The Substance's Margaret Qualley in Supporting Actress, and Challengers entirely.
