In case you missed it, last summer, SNL cast member Bowen Yang revealed on Watch What Happens Live that there was a (then-unnamed) male SNL host who had made “multiple cast members cry.”

And in November of last year, Chloe took it upon herself to put the rumors to rest.

Chloe spoke up after Elon Musk went on a posting rampage when comedian and SNL alum Dana Carvey performed a cutting impression of him on the show. “SNL has been dying slowly for years, as they become increasingly out of touch with reality,” Elon wrote on X.

In response to Elon’s anger over the spoof, Chloe took to TikTok in a since-deleted video. Pointing out that Elon would have, in fact, had to have been tuned in to see the sketch, she said, “You’re clearly watching the show, like, what are you talking about?”

Chloe then cleared up the rumor once and for all. “And you know what, I’m gonna come out and say, at long last, that I’m the cast member that he made cry, and he’s the host that made someone cry,” she said.

In response to Chloe’s accusation, Elon wrote on X, “Frankly, it was only on the Thursday before the Saturday that ANY of the sketches generated laughs. I was worried.”

“I was like damn my SNL appearance is going to be so fucking unfunny that it will make a crackhead sober!! But then it worked out in the end,” he added, referring to how the “unfunny” sketch made it into the show with an overall positive response.

Now, following Elon’s highly controversial speech after Monday’s presidential inauguration, Chloe took to Instagram to share that she stands by what she did, despite any consequences she may have faced.

“Remember when i got in trouble for calling out mr nazi salute?” she wrote, alluding to the recent controversy surrounding Elon. “Ya no regrets,” she added.

Elon has found himself at the heart of online speculation and debate since Monday due to a gesture made at the inauguration, to which many have made comparisons to a fascist salute.

Elon has since responded to the discourse by calling the salute a "hoax," and declaring that, "The 'everyone is Hitler' attack is sooo tired."

And although Chloe implied that she faced repercussions for deciding to call out Elon on TikTok, it seems like she’s satisfied with her choice.
