Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall wowed at a black-tie dinner in The Gambia on Thursday night, wearing a mint green gown and a £38,500 (AU $69,284) pair of diamond earrings.
They are Van Cleef & Arpels Magic Alhambra earrings, which feature three white gold, round diamond clover leafs.
Camilla and Prince Charles were joined at the state dinner at the Coco Ocean Hotel, by President Adama Barrow and his wife.
According to the Queen Jewel’s Vault, Camilla was first spotted wearing the jewels back in 2012 and she has sported them for several evening engagements, including the Queen’s 92nd birthday celebrations in April.
The Duchess and the Prince of Wales began their nine-day tour of west Africa on Wednesday. They are visiting The Gambia, Nigeria and Ghana on behalf of the British government.
It’s been a busy year for the royals, with the arrival of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s third child Prince Louis in April, Harry and Meghan’s wedding in May and their baby announcement.
The Royal Family are also preparing to celebrate Prince Charles’ 70th birthday on November 14.
Earlier this week, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex finished their 16-day tour of Australia, Fiji, Tonga and New Zealand, where Meghan’s wardrobe choices and jewellery collection were also a talking point.
