C.T. Tamburello Hard Launches Relationship with Catalina Hager: 'Cat's Out of the Bag'

The couple confirmed their romance by sharing a funny Instagram video featuring multiple photos

Chris "C.T." Tamburello is making his new relationship Instagram official!

On Tuesday, Sept. 3, the Challenge star, 44, shared a clip confirming his romance with internet personality Catalina Hager.

"Okay, so since the cat's out of the bag, do you wanna er... you know?" Hager said seductively in a video before the camera cut to Tamburello, who pulled an intrigued face.

"Take some pictures?" she added, as the pair edited in multiple funny photos of themselves wearing fancy dress outfits and wigs while Corey Hart's "Sunglasses at Night" played in the background.

"What are we doin’!? We pullin’ down the JC Penney Glamour Shot Custom Backdrop and makin’ sure we loud enough for the people in the back… #shhhun🌳," Tamburello captioned the post, seemingly joking about ditching the usual studio photography shoot.

Tamburello's fellow The Challenge star Cara Maria Sorbello, 38, took credit for setting them up in the comments section.

"THIS MAKES ME SO HAPPY! I love cat for you. I AM THE BEST MATCHMAKERRR #day1 ?❤️🙌" the reality star wrote.

She then commented on the same clip posted to Hager's Instagram, "YOUUUUUU GUYSSSSSS."

Reality star Paulie Calafiore also wrote, "This was so precious 😂 So happy for y’all!"

Hager captioned the same clip on her profile, "We might’ve done a thing… 😱 Which is your fave??? #skits #comedyreels #comedyskits #takesomepictures #funnyclips."

Tamburello's new romance comes after PEOPLE reported he'd filed for divorce from his ex-wife Lilianet "Lili" Solares in November 2022. The couple tied the knot in 2018 and share son Christopher "C.J." Tamburello Solares together, whom they welcomed in 2016.

Their wedding aired on MTV as a two-part special titled C.T.'s Getting Married, but the relationship was a rollercoaster through the years and Tamburello revealed during a 2020 episode of The Challenge: Double Agents that the pair had taken some time apart.

"Marriage was not going well. We're separated," he said at the time, adding, "I feel like I've been running from problems for a long time, and I feel like they finally caught up with me. And I couldn't lie to myself anymore."

Tamburello is now starring in The Challenge 40: Battle of the Eras, which debuted last month and features 40 competitors from across the show’s history.

He also featured in The Traitors Season 2 earlier this year, with him winning the show alongside his fellow Challenge competitor Trishelle Cannatella.

The Challenge 40: Battle of the Eras airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on MTV.
