Aldi kicks off Boxing Day sales with camping Special Buys
Aldi is kicking off this year’s Boxing Day sales extravaganza with a whopper of a ‘Gone Camping’ Special Buys lineup.
On sale from Saturday, December 26 will be a range of popular and affordable summer outdoor essentials starting at just five bucks.
A four-person pop-up tent will set you back just $49.99; throw in a pair of Premium Camp Chairs ($24.99) and you still won’t break the $100 mark.
Cooking up a storm in the wild won’t be an issue with Aldi’s seven-piece Cast Iron Set which contains everything but the kitchen sink. It contains two fry pans (25 and 30cm), a Reversible grill plate, a Double jaffle iron and a Dutch Oven.
Keep your fingers safe from the campfire with a handy lid lifter and relax at the end of the day with a freshly brewed cuppa using the Camp kettle.
The whole kit is priced at a wallet-friendly $99 and comes in a handy wooden storage box for keeping everything tucked away until the next meal.

Keeping food and drinks cool won’t be an issue with Aldi’s Rolling Cooler ($39.99) which features high-density thermal insulation and a 50-can capacity.
With full tummies it’s time for bed and the German retailer has you covered there, too, with single ($14.99) or Queen ($29.99) air mattresses, both of which come complete with a foot pump.
Throw some light on the situation with a Rechargeable Lantern for $29.99 and keep the bugs at bay with a Gazebo Screen Room ($49.99).
Priced at a ridiculously low $4.99 is a variety of camp accessories including a Camp Toaster and a Collapsible Bucket.
For $9.99 there’s the choice of a double Mosquito Net, a Canvas tool bag or a 3-pack Dry Sack while $19.99 will get you a 3.65m heavy Duty Tarp, a 3m Mesh Floor Mat or a Hatchet with Hammer.
Aldi shoppers on Facebook were thrilled with the Special Buys news, with one fan calling it “Good timing!”
Others raced to tag their friends in anticipation of upcoming escapes to the great outdoors; “For camping adventures in 2021,” wrote one fan to their pal.
