Bob the Drag Queen explains targeting“ Real Housewives ”stars on “The Traitors”: 'I know you're mad at me'

"I don't know this woman. I don't know that she's this icon," the "RuPaul's Drag Race" winner said of "RHONY" star Dorinda Medley.

Warning: This article contains spoilers about the three-episode season 3 premiere of The Traitors.

Bob the Drag Queen knows Bravoholics — many of whom cross over with the RuPaul's Drag Race fandom — are not happy with him taking out not one, but two Real Housewives stars on The Traitors, but he's not apologizing for it.

"I know, guys. I know you're mad at me. Get over it," Bob said in a Friday night YouTube livestream recapping the first three episodes of the Peacock reality competition's latest season.

The Drag Race season 8 winner, We're Here star, and Madonna Celebration Tour performer explained that he doesn't watch much reality television and thus "didn't recognize a single person in that house" in a cast made up of many Big Brother, Survivor, and Real Housewives legends. So when host Alan Cumming made Bob a Traitor on the season 3 premiere, the comedian had no sense of personal loyalty or wanting to keep fans happy when it came time to choose who to murder each night — only game strategy.

"The Survivor people do not like each other. The Housewives are friends," Bob expounded of the Traitors' tactics to break up the franchise-mates with the highest numbers."The Survivor people and the Big Brother people have all backstabbed each other; they've hurt each other, so they are not buddy-buddy. The Housewives are buddy-buddy, and we do not think they will turn on themselves."

The result was offing two Bravo stars in a row — first, The Real Housewives of New York City fan favorite Dorinda Medley, followed the next night by The Real Housewives of Dubai fashionista Chanel Ayan.

"We decided that Dorinda was gonna be our kill. This really pissed people off on the internet," Bob said. "I don't know this woman. I don't know that she's this icon on Real Housewives. I don't know she's causing a scene. I have no clue who Dorinda is, so I'm like, 'Girl, kill her.' I don't know, let's pick someone, because they're all strangers to me."

They may have been strangers to Bob, but that doesn't mean their TV deaths didn't phase him at all. The next day at the group breakfast when the cast found out the RHONY star — dubbed by Bob as "Deadrinda" — was no longer with them, the drag artist and fellow Traitor Danielle Reyes (Big Brother) were shown crying.

"I was not acting," Bob insisted. "It genuinely was sad for someone to go. Her dreams got crushed. Yes, I did it, but it was still sad."

The Harriet Tubman: Live in Concert author elaborated elsewhere in the livestream, "I was never really acting on the show. If I was crying, I really was crying because I was emotional. It was also a crazy time in my life."

Aside from wreaking havoc to keep Faithfuls off his murderous tail, the Sibling Rivalry podcast host admitted to having another agenda. "I did want to come here to avenge the death of Peppermint," Bob said of the season 2 early out, whom he counts as a friend and frequent collaborator. "Hopefully I was able to do so by causing a little bit of chaos in the house, and I think I caused more than a little bit of chaos."

Whether Housewives fans are ready to forgive and forget or not, one person who's living for the Traitors' kill list is the reality competition's Emmy-winning host.

"In the same way that we [the producers] are trying to sort of destabilize and add chaos to the mix, so are the Traitors. And I love that," Cumming told Entertainment Weekly in a recent interview. "I also loved the decision, because the Housewives have a sort of predilection for thinking they're being persecuted and thinking everyone is out to get them and there's this sort of massive conspiracy against the Housewives — and there really isn't.... So the Traitors have very cleverly added to that frenzy, because they know that the Housewives will make a lot of noise about feeling that there is a vendetta against them or something. So it's all just, again, this destabilizing, chaos-inducing, juicy, juicy, delicious cake."
