Blac Chyna Says She Just Wants Daughter Dream, 8, to 'Be Creative' When Making Music: 'You Can't Force It'
The rapper shares her daughter with ex Rob Kardashian
Blac Chyna is open to her daughter following in her footsteps.
The rapper, born Angela White, spoke with ET in a joint interview with fiancé Derrick Milano about her 8-year-old daughter Dream's foray into the music industry. The proud mom says that Dream, who released her first single "Besties Do It Better" in June, takes her music very seriously.
When asked about how she approaches Dream's music, Chyna says, "Just honestly letting her be creative."
"It’s not like a thing towards that she’s on a schedule. Like, ‘Hey, you have to go to the studio,' " she continues about her daughter, whom she shares with ex Rob Kardashian. "Whenever she feels…gets that urge. And which it is an urge, you can’t just force it. Music has to just be in you, not on you."

While Dream doesn't play any instruments just yet, Chyna says that she's having fun as she "freestyles it" while Milano says she is very serious about every take.
“She’ll be like, ‘Oh, I want to do it again. I want to do it again. I don’t like this take.’ And I’m looking like, ‘What do you know about takes?’ " Milano, a songwriter and rapper, jokes. "She’s crazy. But the music sounds really good."
"And it’s actually a privilege to be able to be around somebody so young who cares about music that much. Because not only is her music positive, but she also puts us on a lot of music too. Her playlist is crazy," he says.
The two are also not ruling out collaborating with Dream in the future.
"That would be cool! At some point,” Milano says.
“That’d be cool,” Chyna agrees. “I wanna feature with Dream. Dream’s hard. I ain’t gonna lie, she’s pretty…Man, her fee just is high. So you know, I don’t know.”
This past summer, Chyna revealed that her daughter had recorded a song, titled "Besties Do It Better."
"Dream’s the Queen 🩰 These are the moments I live for. 🎀," the TV personality captioned a post on Instagram.
"Besties do it better / BFF forever / Besties do it better / Besties do it better / That's my friend forever / I want my friend forever / Besties do it better / Besties do it better," Dream sings on the song.
"It's Dream / I'm on the scene / And I'm the queen / There's no time to be mean," she continues to sing.
