Bindi Irwin's surprise relationship confession three years after wedding

Bindi has spilled on her future plans with husband Chandler Powell.

Just over three years after marrying her husband Chandler Powell, Bindi Irwin has made the surprising admission that she wants to renew her vows.

The Wildlife Warrior, who got married in March 2020 just hours before Australia changed wedding restrictions to allow no more than five people to be present, told HELLO! Magazine she would love to do another ceremony so their friends and family can attend.

“Chandler and I got married in the midst of the 2020 lockdowns due to the pandemic. We weren't able to have family and friends join us for the wedding,” she told the publication.

“Personally, I'd love to renew our vows one day when Grace is older. It would be lovely to have our closest friends and family with us to celebrate.”

Bindi and Chandler welcomed their first child together, a daughter named Grace Warrior, exactly one year after they tied the knot, and recently celebrated her second birthday.

Bindi went on to say that although it was disappointing they couldn’t have all the “human guests” they wanted at their wedding, they were grateful to have wildlife in attendance because “animals are part of our family”.

“Getting married during the pandemic was certainly a strange experience, but an important reminder that love always wins,” she added. “And now, we have our gorgeous daughter which makes persevering with our wedding even sweeter.”
