Bindi Irwin responds to feud rumours with Robert's girlfriend Rorie

Bindi Irwin has responded to speculation that she is feuding with her brother Robert’s new girlfriend Rorie Buckey.

Reports emerged earlier this month that Bindi is “struggling” with the pair’s relationship and is “terrified” the couple will take over the family business.

“Bindi knows Robert and Rorie present an attractive package for TV producers and offers that may have previously come her way may go in his direction - and this could extend to one day being in charge of the family's prized Australia Zoo,” an insider told New Idea.

However, Bindi has since shut down any rumours that she disapproves of Robert and Rorie’s romance with a sweet social media post.

The Wildlife Warrior took to Instagram on Tuesday to share a selfie with all of her family members, including Rorie, alongside a lengthy caption praising everyone in the photo.

“This group right here ❤️ Grateful for every moment shared,” she wrote.

'I love her dearly'

Bindi described Robert as “the extrovert of our family, hilarious, and definitely on a giant non-stop adventure in life”, and said her husband Chandler Powell is the “strongest and kindest man I’ve ever known”.

She also remarked that her daughter Grace Warrior is “a little whirlwind of beautiful energy”, and thanked her mother Terri for “her endless knowledge, determination and unconditional love” that inspires her every day.

When it came to writing about her brother’s girlfriend Rorie, Bindi described her as “gorgeous”.

“Sweetest soul, beautiful friend, I love her dearly and you’ll usually see Grace just following her around because she adores her,” she wrote.

The photo also featured Australia Zoo’s general manager Luke Reavley, who Bindi said had been a “wonderful friend for more than 17 years”, and Australia Zoo’s creative services manager Mitch, who she called a “phenomenal chef and design genius”.

'You're the best'

Rorie, who has recently updated her Instagram profile photo to a selfie of herself and Robert, was quick to respond to Bindi’s kind words in the comments.

“You’re the best ❤️ I love you lots! 🥰” she wrote.

Other followers also praised Bindi for including Rorie in the snap and called it the “best post ever”.

“Shutting down the rumours you have beef with Rorie (which we knew were false anyway) with a single post 🙌,” one person replied.

“Trolls will try to cause a riff whenever they can. I can’t imagine there ever being beef between anyone in this family,” another added, while a third said, “The way you talk about your family is so beautiful”.

Bindi’s post marks the first time Rorie has been photographed with the entire Irwin family since she and Robert went public with their relationship at a red carpet premiere in July.

Just a few hours after Bindi’s family snap, Rorie posted a photo on Instagram of herself with Robert, Terri, Bindi and Chandler at an event alongside the caption: “The best ❤️”
