Yahoo Lifestyle Billie Eilish Firmly Divides Fans With Unexpected Accessories on 2025 Grammys Red Carpet
Billie Eilish has officially graced the red carpet at the 2025 Grammy Awards.
Showing up to the event at the Crypto Arena in Los Angeles on Sunday, Feb. 9, the "Happier Than Ever" songstress turned heads with a mostly black look with unexpected accessories.
Eilish, 23, rocked a black top with black pants and a white collared undershirt while walking the Grammys red carpet. She accessorized with tiny black glasses, a black sailor hat and black shoes. For beauty, Eilish's makeup was subtle and natural, with her striking blue eyes peeking out from above the glasses.
On social media, fans seemed divided by Eilish's red-carpet look at the Grammys.
One hesitant but supportive X (formerly Twitter) user wrote, "A little odd but ok queen!"
Someone else who was all-in with their praise declared, "Queen! she's serving," while another echoed, "Stunning as always."
However, not everyone felt Eilish's fashion choice for the night.
"WHAT IS THIS MESS BILLIE," one exclaimed, while someone else wondered, "Why she dressed like a butler."
"I love her, but not her clothes," yet another X user bluntly shared.
Eilish—who already has nine Grammy wins under her belt—is nominated for seven awards at this year's ceremony, including a nod for Album of the Year for her record HIT ME HARD AND SOFT.
She is one of the top artists leading this year's nominations, along with Post Malone, Charli XCX, Kendrick Lamar, and behind Beyoncé, who has a total of 11 nominations.
Eilish is also nominated in the Song of the Year and Record of the Year categories for her hit song "Birds of a Feather."
The "Ocean Eyes" artist is also among the list of performers for Sunday's event, which includes Chappell Roan, Cynthia Erivo, Stevie Wonder, Lainey Wilson, Brad Paisley, Teddy Swims, Janelle Monáe, John Legend, Sheryl Crow, Sabrina Carpenter, Shakira and more.
