Big W recalls bath bomb over X-rated fail
Big W has been forced to recall a Christmas item after shoppers pointed out an X-rated fail online.
The ‘candy cane’ bath fizzer went viral after photos of the item were shared in a popular Big W Facebook group, with plenty of people saying it looked like something completely different.
“If anyone’s looking for Bath Bombs...I think BigW might have got their candy cane a bit wrong,” the shopper wrote alongside the photo.
The image quickly went viral with others agreeing the ‘candy cane’ looked like something phallic instead.
“I just spat out my drink,” one person wrote.

“Bath bombs are going to be popular in some household stockings this year, especially all those single ladies,” another commented.
While a third tagged her friend asking: “You want a few for Christmas?”
Big W has since revealed it has pulled the item off shelves after receiving the feedback.
“We are aware that the candy cane bath bomb in our range did get some attention on social media and we certainly didn’t intend to offend our customers,” a spokesperson said in a statement to news.com.au.
“Thanks to their feedback, we withdrew the bath bomb from our range on Thursday, November 19.”
It’s not the first time Aussie shoppers have made light of some hilarious supermarket and department store fails.
Back in October, an Aldi Special Buy left shoppers gobsmacked, after a photo of a fluffy stool labelled ‘Blow Job stool’ went viral.
However, while the outrageous item initially prompted no response from Aldi, the supermarket eventually clarified there was no such item stocked in any of its international stores and said the image had been photoshopped.
