Big W's $40 version of the cult favourite Oodie sends shoppers wild

As the weather gets colder, more and more brands are coming out with oversized hoodies that offer maximum warmth and comfort and Big W has now joined in the action.

The retailer sells $40 versions of the widely popular Oodie, with the most loved one amongst fans being the Friends and Disney themed versions.

Big W's oversized hoodies feature a "fluffy interior" and "fleecy construction" with many taking to social media to share how desperate they are to get their hands on one.

Big W fans have shared their version of the oversized hoodie is "so so comfy", however, others believe the Oodie is far superior thanks to its thicker material.

Kmart also has a $29 dupe of the Oodie, with one TikTok user writing, "I used to have a Kmart one, it lasted a month and then I got the real one. I didn’t realise until I had the new one that the Kmart one was thinner."

Another said: “I own both, the real oodie is 100% worth it! Save up if you can, the Kmart one doesn’t compare”, while a third commented: “The quality is pretty good for the price.”

Oodie has Australia’s largest range of hooded blankets for adults and kids, with a huge variety of prints and colours available, but they are slightly more expensive at about $100.
