‘Screw fashion’: Fitness influencer roasts tiny g-string bikini trend

A fitness influencer has roasted the current trend for tiny g-string bikinis in a searing video on TikTok.

Hayley Madigan, from the UK, shared a video of herself wearing a 'cute' barely-there orange two-piece she'd purchased from an online retailer to encourage others to 'screw fashion'.

'Remember this'

In the clip, Hayley compares how she looks in the string bikini with photos of the model from the website to demonstrate how the same clothing style can appear different on different bodies. And that's not a bad thing.

"The next time you start to pick holes in your body because you don’t suit a certain bikini, dress or outfit please remember this," she wrote in the caption.

"Never judge your own body based on how the outfit looks online or on other people’s bodies!

"Your body doesn’t need to change to fit that outfit!"

The health coach went on to say that she suspects the model 'doesn’t even look like' that in real life, pointing out how smooth and flawless her skin appears 'down there'.

Hayley told her followers that they shouldn't let fashion or trends dictate what they wear and instead focus on finding things that make them feel good.

"You don’t need to wear a certain outfit just because it’s deemed ‘fashionable’!

If you don’t feel confident in it, Chuck it away and find something that you do feel confident in."

After deciding that it was 'time to find another bikini,' Hayley concluded her impassioned message by empowering her followers to do their own thing.

"So screw fashion for sometimes making us doubt our bodies and let’s go wear whatever we bloody want to!"

It seems like the popularity of itsy bitsy teeny-weeny bikinis isn't slowing down, however.

Just recently Pussycat Dolls band member Ashley Roberts posted a sizzling throwback snap of herself sporting a very similar style to Hayley's.

The 39-year-old singer had clearly embraced the rather racy trend for 'micro' bikini bottoms that are favoured by fellow Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger.

Indeed, Ashley's beachside attire received the tick of approval from Nicole herself, who called her pal 'stunning' in the comments section.
