Big Brother VIP’s Omarosa shares brutal opinion of Caitlyn Jenner: ‘Shocking’

They’re two of the most famous stars competing in the new season of Big Brother VIP, but it turns out things were rather tense between Omarosa Manigault Newman and Caitlyn Jenner during filming.

The former political advisor to Donald Trump has opened up about her time on the Channel Seven reality show and confirmed the rumours that she didn’t have the best experience with Caitlyn in the house.

“[Caitlyn] gave an interview to the Daily Mail and said that her whole plan the whole time was to attack me on the show,” Omarosa told Nova host Smallzy.

“I was a little surprised by that because I was so looking forward to getting to know Caitlyn, but instead I got to know Karen. She was just terrible. It was shocking.”

It was clear during Monday night’s premiere that a friendship between the two US celebrities would be unlikely, with the pair sharing political links.

Speaking with Big Brother in the diary room, Caitlyn, who ran for Governor of California earlier this year, labelled the 47-year-old as a “backstabber”.

“Honestly, she was at the White House for a while and all those people are now working for my campaign, and they told me some good stories about her,” she detailed.

“They all kind of warned me to watch out.”

While viewers will have to tune into the rest of the season to see how their relationship evolves, Caitlyn gave an insight to Daily Mail last week about what it was like living together.

“I wasn't a fan of Omarosa before the show because she's a bully,” she began.

“After the show, she proved me wrong. She turned out to be an even more despicable human being than I could have ever imagined.”

The pair’s comments come as the Big Brother VIP contestants’ salaries have leaked online, proving a rather large pay disparity between the Australian and American housemates.

According to The Wash, Caitlyn is the show’s highest-paid star with a whopping $500,000 paycheck.

Omarosa reportedly earned $450,000 for her appearance, followed by Thomas Markle Jr with $200,000.

Meanwhile, Married At First Sight star Jessika Power and model Imogen Anthony are both said to have taken home around $20,000 from the show, although Jessika has since disputed the claims and said it’s closer to six figures.
