Big Brother’s Tilly Whitfield unveils dramatic new look after failed hack
Not long after opening up about her terrifying reaction to a TikTok ‘beauty hack’, Big Brother star Tilly Whitfield has stunned fans with a brand new look.
The 2021 housemate, who became a breakout star after her eviction, has swapped out her distinctive blonde hair for a brunette tone.
Tilly explained to her 100k Instagram followers that she made the change for just one day before going back to bleach blonde, but she is now considering making it permanent.
“OKAY KIDS this is important cause the future of my hair depends on your opinion,” she began her Instagram caption.
“I DID IT FOR 24 hours and now I miss it DO I DO IT FOREVER.”

A number of her followers commented on her post complimenting her new look.
“Oh keep it,” MAFS star Nasser Sultan wrote.
“Yes yes yes!! Maybe a little lighter though?” one fan replied, followed by another who suggested: “Go chocolate brown!”.
“What a hottie Tilly Kala,” joked fellow housemate Mary Kalifatidis, who is also the mother of MAFS star Martha Kalifatidis.
Meanwhile, other followers argued that she should keep her signature look, including former Big Brother star Skye Wheatley who simply replied: “Stay blonde.”
“Stay long and blonde like in the house!” someone else shared.
“I dig the blonde but in saying that, do whatever makes you happy,” a different user commented.
Tilly’s horror TikTok beauty hack
Tilly's new look comes shortly after she revealed that she ended up in hospital after suffering from a horror reaction to a TikTok skin hack.
The 21-year-old took to Instagram to detail why she was often seen covering up her face in the Big Brother house.
“For those asking why I have my blue clay face mask on continuously throughout the show this is what my face looked like a week prior to entering the house hence why I always have makeup on and my skin is always covered,” she explained alongside a gallery of photos showing her reaction.
“This is the result of attempting to remove scarring I inflicted on myself trying to replicate an at-home beauty procedure I saw on a TikTok video two months before Big Brother... Who bloody else would manage to do such a thing.”
Tilly then urged her followers not to try any DIY beauty procedures at home as she ended up being hospitalised “with temporary loss of vision due to swelling”.
