“Big Brother” Fan Favorite Tyler Crispen Hard Launches Relationship with New Baby and Engagement Announcement

Big Brother star Tyler Crispen has a couple of new life updates!

On Tuesday, Jan. 14, the reality TV personality revealed on Instagram that he has welcomed his first child with his fiancée. Crispen shared that he had a daughter but did not share her mother's identity.

“The best secret of all time,” the 29-year-old father wrote in the Instagram caption. "Introducing Carter Rae Crispen.”

The season 20 runner-up announced that he and his fiancée welcomed their daughter on Sunday, Jan. 12, and shared how much the new parents love their new addition. “The most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen. Your mama and I love you more than anything in this world.”

He then cheekily acknowledged the double announcement. “My fiancée (oh yeah, double surprise) wanna thank all of our close friends & fam for helping us keeping this little secret and showering her and us with all the love,” he wrote.

“I am the luckiest guy on the planet,” he concluded before jokingly signing off, “PS. Have you ever seen a harder launch?”

He previously said on the Aug. 14 episode of The Exclusive with Sharon Tharp podcast that he and his fiancée spoke about keeping their relationship private “early on," saying: “If anything it just strengthens the connection because it can be hard for someone that is in the public eye to be with someone that's not.”

Tuesday's Instagram carousel included an adorable photo of Carter as she held a Polaroid photo of Crispen and his fiancée, which read “Mom & Dad!” The second image included a sleeping Carter, while the final photo was of the newborn baby smiling as she was swaddled in a floral blanket.

Fans and several former Big Brother alumni congratulated the couple in the comment section.

"This is the way to launch 👏 That smile on the last pic is too cute. Congrats!!!" wrote season 21 runner-up Holly Allen.

Dana Briones added, "Tyler! Congratulations. Girls are the besssstt. So happy for you three!! 🩷🩷🩷."

“i’ve never seen a harder launch ….,” one user joked in the comments.

Along with uploading a series of photos to his Instagram profile, he also added a video to his Instagram Stories as he updated his bio to read: “Girl dad.”

Crispen was previously engaged to his Big Brother costar Angela Rummans; the couple called off their engagement in 2022.
