Beyoncé teases upcoming NFL game halftime performance, 'A Cowboy Carter Christmas'

Beyoncé is getting fans excited about her highly anticipated Christmas Day halftime performance, which the singer has dubbed "A Cowboy Carter Christmas."

The Grammy award-winning singer posted a clip to her Instagram on Wednesday teasing her halftime performance during the NFL game between the Ravens and Texans on Dec. 25 in Houston.

In the short clip, Beyoncé struts through snow before putting a football ornament on a decorated cactus. Donning blond braids and an all-white outfit with a matching fluffy cowboy hat, the singer poses as the cactus lights up. In the caption she simply wrote, "A Cowboy Carter Christmas. Houston, Texas 12.25."

As fans know, Queen Bey revealed she will hit the stage during halftime of the Baltimore vs. Houston game at NRG Stadium on Christmas Day. The gig, which will air live on Netflix, will be Beyoncé's first time performing songs from her latest album, "Cowboy Carter." And there is already much anticipation and excitement with fans driving up game day ticket sales.

Of course, Beyoncé first announced the album during a surprise Super Bowl commercial in February when she released singles "16 Carriages" and "Texas Hold 'Em." The songs instantly took the internet by storm, as did the album once it was released.

The game kicks off Christmas Day at 4:30 p.m. ET.
