Best Makeup at the Grammys 2025: Taylor Swift, Miley Cyrus, Charli XCX and More

Bold lips and strong eyes were front and center at the 67th Grammys.

While red lips were the hot trend at the Golden Globes, the Grammys was all about bolder nudes. Willow Smith, Kehlani, Kali Uchis and Sabrina Carpenter, nominated for multiple awards, including best new artist, opted for pouts featuring a dark lined lip with a lighter pinky center, a trend often touted by Hailey Bieber. Julia Fox wore a similar look topped with a bit of gloss.

Meanwhile, stars like Clairo, Billie Eilish and Kelsea Ballerini wore an allover wash of color of deeper nudes. That being said, some opted for a signature red lip, most notably Taylor Swift who matched her pout to a sparkly red dress. Alicia Keys also opted for the shade, while Lady Gaga wore a slightly more muted coral version alongside bleached brows.

Aside from bold lips, dark eye looks also came to play. For some, including Miley Cyrus and Raye this looked like a precise winged liner, while Charli XCX, Cardi B and Fox opted for a slightly more blurred out, smoky version. With several of these, including Gracie Abrams’ version, black liner was also placed along the waterline, darkening the looks further.

Chappell Roan made an impression sporting her typical glam: a pale, powdered face, ultra-thin penciled-in eyebrows, purple and yellow eye shadow and a precise maroon lip. She also sported long spidery lashes.

Although bold seemed to be the name of the game, some took on fresher looks. For example, the red carpet darling this season Cynthia Erivo wore a lighter makeup look, but had her usual lengthy nails, which featured a design of the moon and stars. Ditto Nikki Glaser and Shakira, who had softer eyes with natural pink lips. Beyoncé also sported a lighter, more highlighted look with a soft pink lip.
