Philibert won Berlin’s Golden Bear for best film in 2023 for “On the Adamant” and “Être et Avoir” won the European Film Award for European documentary in 2002.

The festival will screen a trilogy of Philibert’s films on alternative psychiatric approaches, along with an illuminating portrait of people working as nurse practitioners: “Each and Every Moment” (2018), “On the Adamant” (2023), “At Averroès & Rosa Parks” (2024) and “The Typewriter and Other Headaches”(2024).

Greenfield, who is also welcomed as a member of the International Competition jury, “castigates the toxic side of hyperconsumerism, leaving a biting commentary on the decay of the nouveau-riche class that wastes itself in ephemeral delights,” the festival said.

Greenfield’s debut documentary was “Thin” (2006), which was nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award. In 2012, she won the directing award, documentary, at Sundance for “The Queen of Versailles.” Other films include “Kids + Money” (2008), “Fashion Show” (2010), “Beauty CULTure” (2011), and “Generation Wealth” (2018).

Her most recent project, the documentary series “Social Studies” (2024), is a social experiment exploring the effects of social media on the first generation of digital natives, today’s adolescents.
