On Tuesday, Feb. 4, Ella shared the exciting news on her Instagram grid, with the 22-year-old revealing the cast of the new play Before This New Year by Liana Sonenclar.
Ella will play the role of Jen alongside fellow cast members like Rookie Blue star Melanie Nicholls-King and House of the Dragon's Emily Carey. The social media post was in collaboration with the play's official account, with the caption reading, "No race is run alone. Meet the ensemble bringing to life a story where every step counts."

Before This New Year follows a young woman named Alison Bennett, played by Naomi's Kaci Walfall, a former track star who reconnects with an old teammate named Haley, played by Carey, during a school break. It's unclear how Ella's character plays into the tale.
Performances for Before This New Year start on March 19, with the official opening night on April 4. The play will be at The Duke on 42nd Street and performances will continue until May 11.
