Bachelorette fans wowed by Brooke Blurton's first trailer: 'Goosebumps'

After Bachelor Jimmy Nicholson and Holly Kingston’s on-screen romance wrapped up earlier this month, it’s now time for Australia to start getting invested in another love story.

Channel 10 have released the first full trailer for the upcoming season of The Bachelorette starring a very familiar face to the franchise, Brooke Blurton.

The new teaser for the highly anticipated season shows the 26-year-old in a flowing red dress looking out at the beach while standing majestically atop a cliff, with a stunning red-dirt landscape behind her.

“This is the land of my people. Yamatji country in Western Australia,” Brooke announces.

“Growing up here has made me feel very connected to the ocean. It has shaped who I am. I would love to share my life with someone special.”

The one-minute clip is set to a cover of Feeling Good, which was popularised by Nina Simone and Michael Bublé, and is believed to have been filmed at Shark Bay, according to PerthNow.

“For me, true love is all about making a soul connection, no matter who they are,” the Indigenous youth social worker adds.

“I have so much love to give and I’m so ready to find that special someone to give it to.”

After failing to find love on The Bachelor with the Honey Badger and again on season two of Bachelor In Paradise, Brooke is set to make history as the first-ever pansexual Bachelorette and the series’ first Indigenous lead.

The upcoming season, which is yet to reveal a premiere date, will feature both male and female suitors aged between 23 and 35.

“I am so ready for this,” she said alongside the announcement in May. “I’ve done it twice before and now, having the opportunity to choose my person and who I want in my life, is a truly unique and special experience.”

Fans have quickly taken to social media to share their excitement for the new series, with many saying that they “can’t wait”.

“GOOSEBUMPS! Release the start date already,” one person wrote.

“I am so excited!” another added, while someone else shared, “This video gives me no new information but I am still OBSESSED”.

A fourth commented: “They better have some good people for her because she deserves it!”
