Bachelorette contestant predicts shock ending for Ali Oetjen

After the Honey Badger’s dramatic finale where he walked away from The Bachelor without choosing a final girl, it’s fair to say all we want from this season of The Bachelorette with Ali Oetjen is a happy ending.

However, now it seems we might not even get that.

Speaking with last night’s eliminated contestant Wesley Ford – who we really didn’t get to see enough of if we’re honest – we asked what he thinks the chances are that Ali pulls a Nick Cummins and walks away alone at the finale (sorry Nick but that’s now a thing).

And to our shock, he replied, “I feel like it could be the other way round.”

“I feel like the leaders of the pack [the final two] might pull a Nick Cummins on her,” he continued.

“I’m hoping that doesn’t happen, but that is what I see could happen.”

Wes went on to explain that he thinks this because he’s concerned Ali won’t remain true to herself as so far it seems she isn’t exactly sure what she’s looking for.

“If you know what you want you’re true to that but if you don’t know what you want then you get a mixed emotion and a mixed outcome” he told Yahoo Lifestyle.

“I know Ali wants to have kids and she wants to meet someone but like does she really know who she wants or is it just an idea in her head?”

He elaborated on this by addressing the fact that we have already seen Ali looking very dreamy-eyed after sneaking a kiss with multiple contestants only three episodes in – a move which Wes hints maybe isn’t the best approach.

“I do believe she wants to settle down but you can’t be kissing all the boys… that makes things confusing and you get a confused relationship out of that.”

“It looks a bit silly to fall hard and fast for four or five guys at a time,” he concluded.

Now the season’s promo that shows Ali breaking down in hysterical tears on finale day is starting to make sense.

In the footage, we hear one of her final men whispering ‘goodbye’ as tears well up in Ali’s eyes, and if Wes is right, perhaps this is her chosen man walking away after she professes her love for him.

It would sure make for a bombshell finale – whether Australia is ready for that again, we’re not sure.
