The post-Bachelor moment that has left both Brittany and Sophie blindsided
Nick ‘Honey Badger’ Cummins left Brittany Hockley, Sophie Tieman and the whole of Australia shocked last night, after he chose neither of the girls on The Bachelor finale.
But the Honey Badger isn’t finished with his surprises, as there’s a post-Bachie moment that’s left both heartbroken ladies blindsided – his book which conveniently comes out next week.
When chatting with Yahoo Lifestyle, both Sophie and Brittany admitted they weren’t aware he was bringing out a book.
“I wasn’t even aware he was writing a book until bloody… today,” Sophie laughed. “So, I don’t really know how I feel about it.
“I haven’t really formulated an opinion just yet – I don’t know if it’s good timing or bad timing.”

Echoing a similar sentiment, Brittany was left slightly speechless for a moment when we mentioned Nick’s book, The Honey Badger Guide to Life.
“I couldn’t even comment on that. I didn’t even know he actually had a book,” the 31-year-old admitted.
“Who knows? Some people might say it’s convenient, but it could just make sense it’s time for the next chapter for him as well.”
We’re guessing Brit didn’t mean to throw a pun in there, but we’re totally here for it.
While the brunette beauty appeared to be in good spirits, she did admit the total silence from the Honey Badger on social following the shock finale was “strange”.
“It’s a little strange for him not to acknowledge anything,” she said. “A bit of closure would’ve been nice.
“He’ll eventually have to make a statement, he can’t ignore it forever.”
Sophie also admitted it “would’ve been nice for him to be here” in the post-Bachelor finale whirlwind.
“I’ve got heaps of unanswered questions and I know Brittany does too,” the 25-year-old explained. “I feel like I didn’t really get a reason as to why what I was doing wasn’t enough.
“Brittany and I are kind of here to pick up the pieces.”
However, both girls insisted they don’t hold anything against Nick.
Both Sophie and Brittany are looking on the bright side of things, admitting they’re thankful they’ve made some great friends from the experience.
We love to see women supporting women.
