Bachelor star rumoured to win after major clue: 'Completely ecstatic'

The Bachelor's Brooke Cleal quickly established herself as a frontrunner after scoring herself plenty of alone time with Jimmy Nicholson early in the show.

Now, sources are suggesting she may have made it to the finale with an anonymous insider telling Daily Mail Australia they have spoken to her almost every day and is "so happy all the time".

"She's completely ecstatic, it's like why would you be that happy if you didn't win? Why would you be that excited to watch it? Like it's Christmas, every single time it comes on," they shared.

The insider adds that Brooke was "fixated" on Jimmy and wouldn't stop talking about him after filming wrapped in April.

Though, let's be honest, it's very possible Brooke is simply a happy person!

The publication also reports Brooke's time in the mansion was initially cut short when she found out her grandfather had passed away.

The producers reportedly gave the reality star permission to go to Melbourne for the funeral and it was "understood she wasn't going to come back".

However, a source shared that producers had Jimmy FaceTime Brooke to ask how she was going, before then begging her to come back.

They added that it was "disrespectful" to ask her to come back.

"That's just actually really traumatic for someone," the source said. "Why would you bring someone back and then reject them and kick them out again?"

Brooke returning to the show could mean she makes it all the way to the end.

Currently, betting agencies have Holly Kingston as the favourite to win and Brooke is the second.

Jimmy hasn't given much away about his chosen lady, telling fans before the show premiered, "I can't wait for you all to meet her."

He has, however, confirmed they are very happy together, telling Yahoo Lifestyle, "I’m really, really happy to say that we are genuinely in love."

The reality star also shared that he had no idea of some of the drama that occurred on the show until he was able to spend time with his girlfriend after the show wrapped.

"There was a lot that I wasn't aware of until I finished the show and I was obviously chatting with my girlfriend," Jimmy said.

"She told me a whole bunch of different things that I had no idea happened.

"I'm just like, ‘no, she didn't say that!?’ or ‘she didn’t do that!?’. But that being said, there were also some amazing girls that came on that I will definitely be mates with after this."
