Bachelor's Matty J and Laura Byrne expecting second child
Bachelor Australia lovebirds Matty J and Laura Byrne have announced the exciting news they are expecting their second child together.
Taking to Instagram on Thursday the couple, who fell in love on The Bachelor back in 2017, shared a gorgeous set of family snaps showing off Laura’s growing baby bump and featuring their daughter Marlie.
“Marlie-Mae learning shocked face couldn’t have been timed any better.. WE’RE HAVING A BABY!” Matty wrote alongside the images, adding fans should brace themselves for “twice the amount of dad jokes.”
Laura also took to her own social media account to share the happy news.
“I reckon we’ve kept this little beach ball under wraps for long enough..... Half way to number 2 👶🏻🥰🥰,” she wrote.
The reality TV couple announced their engagement back in April 2019 after Matthew 'Matty J' Johnson popped the question.

“You are my favourite everything @matthewdavidjohnson. YES to a lifetime of love and flamboyant dance moves with you my honey,” Laura wrote on Instagram at the time.
Matty and Laura welcomed their first baby Marlie - full name Marlie-Mae Rose Johnson - in June 2019.
Fellow Bachelor stars were quick to congratulate the couple on the happy news.
“Insane!!! Well done!!!!” Helena Sauzier commented.
And Florence Alexandra wrote: “Congratulations!!!!” along with many love heart and tear emoji.
