Bachelor Matt takes aim at The Project host after bombshell revelation

The Bachelor Australia’s Matt Agnew proved he has a good sense of humour, after jokingly taking aim at Tommy Little on last night’s The Project.

In a segment which could have turned very awkward, very fast, the 32-year-old Bachie showed his funny side by teasing the comedian over his connection to two of the bachelorettes in the mansion.

The whole topic was brought up by Carrie Bickmore, who had earlier dropped a bombshell on Matt by revealing on her radio show that her co-host and fellow The Project star, Tommy Little, has previously been linked to two of the Bachie’s love interests.

“I discovered for the first time, Tommy has been telling us that he has been linked to two of the girls in The Bachelor house tonight,” Carrie said.

The astrophysicist couldn’t stop laughing as he took aim at the 34-year-old comedian.

“‘As a prolific dater Tommy, I guess it would have been weirder if you weren’t linked to one of the contestants,” Matt said, as the audience laughed along.

Tommy went a bit red after the revelation, saying: “I feel like it’s a real step up for them and they will look back on me and go ‘can you believe we started at the bottom and now we’re here’, so Good Luck,” Tommy said.

It’s not clear which of the two bachelorettes Tommy took a liking to in the past, but we’re sure it’s only a matter of time before one of them spills all.

It’s not the first time Tommy has been linked to a Bachelor contestant either, as he briefly dated season two contestant, Chantal Hryniewski, back in 2014.

In January, Tommy shut down rumours that he had a new girlfriend, after sharing an Instagram photo of himself with actress Nicole Chamoun.

Just days later, he uploaded a screenshot from one of his Bumble dating app conversations, saying he’d just opened an account on his quest for love.
