The Bachelor fans fume over Bella Varelis' psychic scene
It was a very eventful episode of The Bachelor last night, with five ladies getting the boot from Locky and producers scrambling as host Osher Günsberg revealed they were shutting down filming due to the coronavirus outbreak.
However, one scene in particular has left fans fuming, after Bella Varelis was left in tears following a psychic reading.
Psychic medium Alison Maiden dropped by the mansion, where she went around and gave each of the women a reading.
When she got to Bella, she initially gave her some good news, telling Bella that a baby boy would be born into her family.
Locky and Bella exchanged a little smile upon hearing this, while the other girls looked on in disgust.
However, Bella’s face dropped when Allison said there would be a passing in the family and that she felt the spirit of an older man with cancer.
Bella immediately thought of her grandfather, who currently has cancer, and it made her think he had died.
She burst into tears and was forced to ring home, where she found out all was ok with her grandad.
However fans were appalled by the scene, saying the show has “hit a new low”.

“Not a fan of how they’re making the health of Bella’s grandfather the big dramatic plot point, it’s not what this show is about,” one person Tweeted.
“They really just made the possible death of Bella’s grandpa a plot point in their s***** reality show, channel 10 has hit a new low,” another said.
“Shocking that someone thought this should make it to air,” another said.
Later in the show, at the rose ceremony, we said goodbye to Areeba, Charley, Gemma, Laura and Marg.
After they were sent packing, Osher delivered the news to Locky that filming at the mansion would have to be shut down due to the coronavirus crisis.
