The Bachelor: Viewers point out major editing fails

The Bachelor has been a wild ride this year, with producers seemingly trying to create enough drama to keep us interested until the show goes into lockdown and things are likely to get a little less interesting – let's be honest, we don't really want to watch the Zoom version of The Bachelor.

But it seems as though in one scene the show's producers have literally put words into one of the girl's mouths.

In an editing fail pointed out by Hi Josh on Instagram, Kaitlyn Hoppe is seen asking to take Bachelor Locky Gilbert away for a little chat (and a kiss) and when she asks him to come with her she says, "Do you mind coming with me somewhere?"

She then adds, "Sorry, I've got toothpaste in my mouth," however, her lips are definitely not moving along with her words.

Sadly, I'm no lip reading expert so I'm unable to reveal to you what she actually said, but you can watch the fail here:

It just makes you think how many other times this has happened that we haven't noticed.

One Twitter user also pointed out another fail, saying that the cocktail party was likely filmed over two nights because there is "no way" Locky and Charley Bond "come back clean" after enjoying a very odd mud bath together.

Fans slam new format

It comes as Bachie fans have slammed the show's new format as producers attempt to stretch out the amount of time they have at the mansion before the show was shut down as the coronavirus pandemic kicked off.

One user took to Twitter, saying they longed for the good old days, "What on earth have they done to the formatting - blergh. Go back to the standard style ASAP!!!"

Another added, "Gone are the days where @TheBachelorAU was actually about people making real connections and possible love - way too much drama."

Former Bachelorette star Georgia Love even joked on Wednesday, "Is Locky... in this episode?"

Someone else wrote, "Omg...it’s already lockdown time?????? Good god. Iso dating is gonna be even more boring than this."

One Twitter user questioned how the show was going to continue the drama between the girls and whether they will air private Zoom chats between them to keep it up.
