Inside The Bachelor finalist Helena Sauzier's Miss World audition
With her model looks, elegance and poise, it’s no surprise that The Bachelor finalist Helena Sauzier has brushed with pageant fame in the past.
The 25-year-old from Perth competed in the Western Australia State Finals for the Miss World Australia competition in 2018, and while she didn’t come out on top in the competition, she’s one of the final four on The Bachelor this year.
Photos from the Miss World Australia WA State Finals that took place in May last year show the blonde beauty making her mark on the runway as she competed against local talent.
She posed for the cameras in a gorgeous white gown that exudes bridal-style elegance, as she made her way up and down the catwalk.
The long-sleeved laced dress was teamed with matching strappy heels, and her long locks, a slightly darker shade to the gorgeous gold we’ve seen on TV, was worn out in loose waves.
Typical of pageants, there’s often several rounds, and in another phase of the competition she wore a different, darker coloured outfit.
Helena slipped into a fitted black dress as she took to the microphone for the speaking round of the pageant, where she was yet again going up against fellow WA contestants.
Ultimately, the Miss World Australia crown went to the Gold Coast’s Taylah Cannon, but Helena has managed to find her calling on reality TV, searching for love on The Bachelor.
She is one of the final four contestants still vying for the heart of Matt Agnew, and promos for tonight’s hometown visits show Helena having second thoughts about her budding romance.
Needless to say, there’ll be plenty of drama when The Bachelor airs tonight at 7:30pm on Channel Ten.
