Yahoo Lifestyle Auliʻi Cravalho Goes Strapless in Floral Embellished Shushu/Tong Dress for ‘Seth Meyers’ Appearance, Talks ‘Moana’
Auliʻi Cravalho brought flower power to New York City for her appearance on “Late Night with Seth Meyers” on Thursday. The actress discussed her role as the voice of “Moana” and the film’s sequel, which debuted in 2024.
Cravalho opted for a strapless dress courtesy of Shushu/Tong. The dress featured a bow detail with embellished twill and a midi hem. Cravalho’s look included a black fabric base, geometric neckline and embroidered embellishments featuring cream, pink and periwinkle flowers.

Cravalho’s dress also included a white tulle slip beneath the dress for added texture, color and volume. The actress paired the dress with black pumps and favored only minimal accessories, including statement earrings and a few rings.
When it came to her glam, Cravalho styled her bob with a side part and some added volume for a playful look. Her makeup featured a clean look with the addition of bold brows, lined eyes and a soft lip for added touch of color.
Flower motifs have been an essential part of Cravalho’s wardrobe as she promotes “Moana 2,” the sequel to the 2016 Disney animated film, for which she provides the voice for the titular character.
At the “Moana 2” premiere in London last November, Cravalho gave her florals a tropical spin. The actress wore a gown courtesy of Oscar de la Renta, which featured tropical pink florals and green leaves cascading across the bodice and upper skirt of her dress, adding a textured, three-dimensional element. She also wore Christian Louboutin heels and jewels courtesy of Effy Jewelry and Graziela Gems.
Cravalho’s proclivity for florals over the course of the last few months may be a nod to the method dressing trend embraced by several stars promoting new projects. With the florals as a nod to the film and her character, Cravalho seamlessly found a way to highlight botanical inspiration in spite of the chilly wintertime season.
