Ashton Kutcher Explains How 'Toxic Masculinity' Has Contributed to His Parenting His Son and Daughter 'Differently'
The actor shares his daughter Wyatt, 9, and son Dimitri, 7, with wife Mila Kunis
Ashton Kutcher is explaining how outside factors have impacted how he parents his son and daughter.
Appearing on a Thursday, Sept. 5 episode of the Throwbacks podcast, the actor, 46, was asked by cohosts Matt Leinart and Jerry Ferrara about how he feels being a girl dad. Kutcher shares his daughter Wyatt, 9, and son Dimitri, 7, with wife Mila Kunis, 41.
"I don't know if it equates to being a girl dad or it equates to her being my first, but when I had my daughter, I had never been so in love in my entire life," Kutcher shares. "And Mila and I talked about it a lot. Like, I've never loved anyone this much. Ever."

The actor went on to say that he parents his son and daughter "differently," noting that there's probably some "toxic masculinity" from his life that contributes to that.
"My son, I'm always like, 'Yeah, let's go for it.' Like yesterday, we're popping wheelies on a bicycle in the driveway or it's like, 'See if you can jump down four stairs,' " he recalls. "My daughter, I just want to protect her."
"When my son cries, I'm like, 'All right, what did we learn? Let's move on.' But when my daughter cries, my heart is out of my body and I can't put it back in," he continues.
However, Kutcher shared that he's not alone — he's seen his wife act similarly.
"But I also notice the same thing with my wife. She's very strict on our daughter and a gushball with our son," he says. "I think we balance each other that way."
In May, Kutcher and Kunis made a rare public appearance with their two kids as they watched Indiana Fever defeat the Los Angeles Sparks during their game in Los Angeles.
The famous couple were photographed with their daughter and son beaming as they sat courtside to watch the match and post-game as they met Fever rookie Caitlin Clark after her team’s win of 78-73 in L.A.’s Crypto Arena.
The family also met Clark after the game, as seen in a video posted on X by Indiana Fever.
The sweet moment saw the WNBA star approach Kutcher, Kunis and their kids at the edge of the court. As the That '70s Show actor walked toward Clark for a hug, Wyatt held her hand over her mouth in surprise and Dmitiri clapped. The basketball star then shook hands with the children and embraced them in a hug, before posing with them for photos.
"Caitlin Clark met up with Ashton Kutcher after our win in Los Angeles 🤝," Fever captioned the clip.
