Ashley Benson Just Shared a Rare Mother-Daughter Photo With Baby Aspen
It's the first time she has shown Aspen's face online.
After giving birth to her daughter, Aspen, almost exactly a year ago, Ashley Benson is finally ready to share her with the world—or at the very least, with Instagram. Taking to the social media app on Wednesday, February 5, the Spring Breakers actress posted a perfectly adorable carousel of the mother-daughter duo in sweats and matching sunglasses, marking the first time she has shown Aspen's face online. Benson captioned the post with a set of emojis: "💕💕🦄💕💕."
Aspen is Benson's first child with her husband, Brandon Davis, whom she married in 2023. The couple have led a relatively private life despite the fact that Benson has been in the public eye ever since she shot to fame playing Hanna Marin in the hit TV show Pretty Little Liars.
"I usually keep my relationships private," she told Cosmopolitan UK. "You obviously can't help if you get photographed together. [But] it's more sacred that way. Those private moments are for you and your partner, and I think it's best not to be over-exposed, and you can really protect your relationship if you're not exploiting it."
The couple was first linked in February 3. They got engaged that July, married in November, and welcomed Aspen the following February, just one year after their whirlwind romance began. And though this is the first time Benson has shown Aspen's face online, she has actually shared images in the past (albeit with emojis that obscured her daughter's face.) Case in point? The couple's first Father's Day last June.
"Happy first Father’s Day my love," Benson wrote in a caption commemorating the holiday. "From the moment I was pregnant you never left my side. Came to every single appointment because you knew how scared I was. You showed up for me every time and I knew you were going to do the same for our daughter and be the best daddy to her. We are so lucky to have you and we love you so much. She has the best daddy in the world."
