Will Ariana Grande Go on Tour in 2025? Record Label Responds to Fan Rumors

Ariana Grande fans may have to wait a bit before she goes on tour.

Following online rumors about the Wicked actress going on tour and screenshots from Ticketmaster appearing to feature events registered to Grande, 31, her record label responded on Dec. 15.

"There are no plans for a tour next year, but Ariana remains deeply appreciative of her fans and all their continued love, support and excitement," Republic Records posted on X (formerly Twitter).

The "Yes, And?" singer spoke about wanting to go on a miniature tour in July in between Wicked parts one and two for her March 2024 album, Eternal Sunshine.

"I still want it, too," Grande said on the Shut Up Evan podcast, referring to a string of concerts. "I think it would be a really lovely idea to be able to trickle in some shows in between the two Wicked films. I think there’s a version of that that exists."

Grande mused at the time that the set of shows wouldn't be a traditional tour "for a multitude of reasons," but instead a "mini sampling of shows."

"I do think it’d be really nice to do that,” she said, "and it’s something my team and I are working on coming up with options for."

The last time Grande toured was in 2019 for the Sweetener World Tour, in support of her 2018 album of the same name and thank u, next, which was released the following year.

The singer has had a busy 2024 and likely will experience a similar whirlwind in 2025. After filming Wicked parts one and two, Grande, who portrays Glinda, has been promoting the movie's musical adaptation.

The first film premiered in November, and the second will hit theaters on Nov. 21, 2025.

Along with taking the box office by storm, the movie earned four Golden Globe nominations. Grande was nominated for best performance by a female actor in a supporting role in any motion picture.

Her costar Cynthia Erivo was recognized for her role as Elphaba for the best performance by a female actor in a motion picture – musical or comedy award.

Wicked was also nominated for best motion picture - musical or comedy, along with cinematic and box office achievement.
