Ariana Grande Thanked "Botox and Juvederm" While Wearing a Reflective Bubble Dress

Ariana Grande is a star in the music and acting industries, but she also showed off her comedic chops while making her first red carpet appearance of 2025. On Friday, January 3, the Wicked: Part One actress appeared to poke fun at cosmetic procedure speculation as she accepted the Rising Star Award at the Palm Springs Film Festival. As Jennifer Coolidge presented her with her first trophy of the year, Grande playfully credited her “two friends Botox and Juvederm” for her youthful appearance.

Thanking the crowd, the “Thank U, Next” singer called Coolidge a "comedic genius whose brilliance has inspired my entire life” before opening up about what the award meant to her.

"I've been performing since I was a child, so I never thought at the age of 31 I would be hearing the words 'rising star' again, so I wanted to start by thanking my two friends: Botox and Juvederm,” she quipped to the laughing crowd. "I thought I'd be hearing 'slightly withering star' or 'drooping star' by now so thank you.”

Grande was anything but withering as she turned heads on the red carpet in a silver strapless bubble gown that looked just like the clear bubble that her Wicked character Glinda used to get around Oz.

The silk metallic dress featured horizontal sections throughout the reflective fabric and a fitted bodice that flared out into her voluminous round skirt. The ankle-length creation was paired with matching silver pointy-toed heels, a dazzling diamond choker, and diamond earrings.

Grande leaned into an icy beauty look, pairing frosted white eyeshadow with a black liquid cat eye and a dewy rose pink lip. She wore her strawberry blonde hair in a sleek bun with Audrey Hepburn-inspired micro bangs.

The multi-hyphenate previously addressed rumors that she’s gotten plastic surgery, revealing that she’d never had a nose job, a boob job, a “fox eye lift,” or a face lift (although she admitted she’d be open to getting one in the future).

“I’ve had fillers in various places and Botox, but I stopped, like, four years ago, and that is the extent," she told Wicked co-star Cynthia Erivo during a September Vanity Fair interview. However, Grande was quick to add that she supported anyone’s decision to alter their bodies and faces.

"In full support of all people who do these things," she continued. "Work. Whatever makes women, men, non-gender-conforming people feel beautiful should be allowed. Why do we care?”
