On Thursday, August 1, the second child of the rapper, 35, and superstar singer, 36, celebrated his first birthday and got a special shout-out on social media from his dad.
Sharing a carousel of images and videos on Instagram, Rocky added a message for his baby boy in the caption: “HAPPY 1ST BIRTHDAY TO MY 2ND BORN SON RIOT ROSE MAYERS ❤️.”
The first snap showed the rapper on a couch holding both Riot and his firstborn son RZA Athelston Mayers, 2 — whom he also shares with Rihanna — in his lap in their adorable sweatsuits. While the older child sipped on a bottle of juice, little Riot sweetly sucked on his dummy.

Other photos in the celebratory carousel showed the father of two cuddling, sitting with and video calling with Riot, while one cute video showed the little one lying on his back wearing a pair of silver Beats headphones before what appeared to be his mom lifted him to a sitting position.
Another sweet clip saw Rocky standing holding his younger son and appearing to have an emotional moment as he closed his eyes and held his boy against him, before looking at the child and saying a few words to him.
Rocky also shared a hilarious video of Riot having some downtime lying on the floor by a couch, before the camera panned to his older brother apparently not looking very impressed. A cute close-up clip also showed baby Riot on what appeared to be an airplane having some fun with an eye mask.

Riot joined the family last year after Rocky and Rihanna welcomed their first son RZA in May 2022.
But before their second child was even born he was famous around the world, as his mom announced she was pregnant with him in spectacular fashion — during her Super Bowl halftime show performance in February 2023.
The singer and entrepreneur — who has been in a relationship with Rocky since 2020 — debuted her growing baby bump during the performance, much to the delight of her fans, while wearing a red bodysuit on stage. The family of four then posed together for photos — marking the first snaps of Riot — in September 2023.

Ahead of his first birthday, little Riot had already had enough of a growth spurt to fit into his older siblings' outfits, with Rihanna revealing to Interview Magazine in April 2024 that her youngest was already sporting RZA's hand-me-downs.
"Riot is actually in all of RZA’s 1-year-old clothes already. He’s only 6 months," the Fenty beauty founder told the outlet.
